WGIRLS PITTSBURGH

WGIRLS Pittsburgh was started in February, 2010. Our chapter serves underprivileged women and children in the Pittsburgh area. We plan volunteer events and fundraisers while socializing and networking with motivated, young, professional women. We meet every other Wednesday evening in the Pittsburgh area and have both social and volunteer activities monthly. With 10 active members since our inception, we are growing rapidly and helping many!

BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE AUCTION at Buckhead Saloon

On Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 7:30 - 10:30 the WGIRLS Pittsburgh will be holding their First EVER Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction to benefit Strong Women, Strong Girls! The event will be held at Buckhead Saloon in Station Square , in Downtown Pittsburgh. Tickets will be on sale for $10 (in advance) and $12 (at the door) and will get you a bracelet that will give you $2 drinks for 2 hours. Come out and support the WGIRLS Pittsburgh's First EVER Auction!

DRESSING LOCAL GIRLS FABULOUSLY SINCE 2010!

The WGIRLS Pittsburgh helped to support the Allegheny County Department of Human Services with their annual Project Prom 2010 event which was held in late March. The WGIRLS gathered 116 dresses, 16 pairs of shoes, accessories and purses to help support Project Prom. Local girls had the opportunity to "go shopping" with a personal shopper and pick out the perfect ensemble for their High School proms!
