WGIRLS BAY AREA

WGIRLS Bay Area was started in February, 2010. Our chapter serves underprivileged women and children in the San Francisco Bay Area and in times of international crisis around the world. We are young, professional women whom desire to make a difference and positively impact those less fortunate. While organizing philanthropic events and fundraisers we socialize and network with like-minded women. We meet every Tuesday evening in the San Francisco Marina area and have both social and volunteer activities monthly. With 20 active members since our inception, we are growing quickly and helping many!

The WGIRLS Bay Area hosted its first annual WGIRLS Bay Area Bachelor/Bachelorette Charity Auction on June 3rd. The fundraising event was a wild success, raising $20,000.00 through ticket sales, auction bids, raffle tickets, and donations!

WGIRLS Bay Area to Support The Princess Project

The WGIRLS Bay Area will be supporting Princess Project in keeping with our sister chapter “Operation Fairy Dust” events. We currently have two dress locations and the last day to donate is March 15th. Give that dress a second chance and make a girl smile. We are also hosting Princess Project boutique as personal shoppers for these girls on two different Saturdays. One is in San Francisco (March 27th 1:30-5:00), and one is in Silicon Valley (April 10, 2010 8:30-1:00). Learn More
