This city can be a pretty big and lonely place. I wanted to make it feel a little smaller by finding a group of "girls" to connect with, and who share the same values that I do. What I found in this organization turned out to be so much more. I am so proud to be a part of such an amazing group of young women. Not only have I found a wonderful circle of friends, but I've found a way to make a difference in other people's lives each day.
What I didn’t anticipate were the amazing friendships – I know the WGIRLS will always be there.
I’m a WGIRL because it makes me feel good about myself that I am helping raise money for a good cause that I truly believe in.
Being a WGIRL means knowing that you’ll never be alone and that there’s always someone else in the same place in life.
I’m a WGIRL because it’s an organization of women championing women. It’s a nurturing environment on a personal, professional and charitable level.
Being a WGIRL means no longer wishing there was an easy way to meet great new girlfriends.
Being a WGIRL means being a part of something where the whole far exceeds the sum of the parts.
Taking the best of what we each have to offer and pooling it to achieve amazing things for those less fortunate.
