Hope for the Holidays Fiesta

Yesterday, the WGIRLS NYC hosted their 5th Annual Hope for the Holidays party whose proceeds will be used to benefit our 5th annual holiday gift giving drive. Over 200 guests attended this year’s Holiday Fiesta which featured a Latin flair as guests mingled amidst the colorful murals adorning the walls of the venue, Cantina Latina. Energetic music filled the air, lights twinkled and raffle tickets for amazing prizes like a Cole Haan bag or NY Ranger tickets were sold in abundance. Catherine Malandrino Shopping Event a Success!

On November 12, 2009, the WGIRLS NYC partnered with the Catherine Malandrino boutique in Soho to host a three hour private shopping event, with a portion of the evening’s proceeds going to support the WGIRLS Hope for the Holidays gift giving program.

The WGIRLS NYC would like to extend their sincerest thanks to Catherine Malandrino and her staff for generously agreeing to donate 10% of the evening’s proceeds to the WGIRLS Hope for the Holidays program. The WGIRLS NYC Celebrate Halloween at the Hope Lodge

On October 27, 2009, the WGIRLS NYC entertained guests staying at the Hope Lodge in NYC with a night of Halloween festivities. The Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their families a free temporary place stay while seeking treatment.

The WGIRLS NYC has an ongoing partnership with the Hope Lodge and visits once a month, not only to provide a home cooked meal and entertainment, but comfort and companionship to the individuals residing at the Hope Lodge. Read more...

Over $6,000 Raised at the WGIRLS NYC Back to School Fundraiser

On, October 8th the WGIRLS NYC held its 4th Annual Back to School Night to raise money and awareness for The Arts Effect. The event was attended by over 250 young professionals helping to make a difference. Guests enjoyed an hour open bar, music and a terrific raffle at Hudson Terrace.

Over 800 Guests Attend the WGIRLS Opportunity Rocks Fundraiser
May 29, 2009

On May 28th, the WGIRLS NYC hosted its 3rd annual Bachelor and Bachelorette fundraising auction “Opportunity Rocks” at M2 Ultra Lounge to benefit the Opportunity Network and Harlem RBI. Over 800 people attended this year’s event to bid on twenty four of NYC’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, guests were able to enjoy an hour of open bar compliments of Belvedere Vodka and Hob Nob wines. The WGIRLS NYC would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this year’s event a huge success. Read more....
