The Children’s Aid Society (founded in 1853, is one of the nation’s largest and most innovative non-sectarian agencies, serving 150,000 of New York’s neediest children and their families with a network of services that includes community schools, neighborhood centers, camps, adoption and foster care services, arts programming, teen pregnancy prevention, education, health and recreation

In October 2006, the WGIRLS NYC hosted their 1st annual Back to School Night Bash to raise funds used to send thousands of school supplies to the Children's Aid Society for distribution to some of NYC's neediest children. The WGIRLS NYC also donated proceeds from their 2nd annual "Back to School Night Bash" in September 2007 to benefit the Children’s Aid Society and Dancing Dreams.
